Located on Pacific Avenue in Venice Beach, the Dior Men Resort 2023 Menswear collection came in with a splash. Designed by Dior Men creative director Kim Jones and guest designer Eli Russell Linnetz of ERL, this collection was created for the cool and inspired by Venice Beach culture in 1991 which was the year Linnetz was born.

The first look that came down the runway was an all gray silk satin suit paired with a long bedazzled trim jacket and chunky skater sneakers. Throughout the runway show items such as fuzzy shorts, funky printed sweatshirts and tops with ying yang printed motifs, oversized tote bags and even cool funky accessories such as colored lens sunnies and fuzzy bucket hats which are very popular right now.

Of course, they didn’t forget the signature styles of Dior having showcase silk satin suits in colors such as fuchsia pinks, lavenders and teal blues and pillbox hats worn backwards as a nod to Jackie O. They even had cozy turtleneck sweaters with “California Couture” written across them which is the perfect way to describe this collection.

The Dior Men Resort 2023 collection was a perfect mixture of Dior’s signature elegant, tailored style, SoCal streetwear and maximalist designs inspired by former Dior creative director Gianfranco Ferre’. I’m sure this collection will be a hit with streetwear lovers alike and Gen Z fashion lovers. If you are looking for a quirky, cool collection with a sophisticated touch, the Dior Men Resort Menswear collection is just for you.
