If you are looking for a fashion collection that represents the personification of glamor and opulence, look no further than the LaQuan Smith Fall RTW 2023 collection.
Presented in the famous Rainbow Room in New York City, the sleek and sexy collection gave us moments of sheerness and sex appeal that is expected in a LaQuan Smith collection, but it also gave us sophisticated looks that show that the LaQuan Smith audience is growing up.
The collection included cropped jackets, a range of perfectly tailored trousers, draped dresses and mesh tops with scooped satin necklines. A lot of the looks were inspired by the glitz and glamor style of the 80’s with the main inspiration coming from hit-tv show, ‘Dynasty.’ From the power suiting, fur coats and provocative silk dresses with skin baring cutouts, these garments definitely represent the high power and seductive trends coming from the decade known for being big, bold, and utterly glamorous.
This collection also showcased menswear, a decision that could be inspired by LaQaun Smith recent work with equally stylish rockstar Lenny Kravitz for his CFDA Awards appearance.
