The Schiaparelli Fall 2023 Couture collection was a work of art which should be no surprise since Elsa Schiaparelli has always been inspired by art, especially surrealism. That legacy continues in the latest couture showing featuring mostly monochromatic looks with gold accents and accessories. Even within the muted color palette of black, whites, nudes and other neutral colors, there were pops of color throughout the collection and even jaw-dropping silhouettes and design choices.
The garments stood tall like statues with sculptural like draping and asymmetrical silhouettes. Daniel Roseberry has definitely revived the Schiaparelli brand with his experimental designs and out of the box concepts, making this brand one of the top fashion houses in Haute couture.
