In one of Hip-Hop’s most famous court cases to date, a verdict has been reached in the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

As the verdict was read, Lanez father and stepmother stood up on protest and began to yell, according to a tweet from court reporter Meghann Cuniff.

“This is a wicked system,” and “Roc Nation.” Screaming ensued at the prosecutors as Lanez was reprimanded immediately and carried off in cuffs — his father saying they are evil and knew what they did here.

Lanez is 30 and has been convicted of three felony counts: assault with a semiautomatic handgun, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

When Megan testified in court, she famously testified about the traumatic incident which took place after leaving a party at Kylie Jenner’s house. Together with Lanez, and her then, best friend Kelsey Harris, the three got into an argument which resulted in Lanez shooting at Megan as she recalled, saying, “dance bitch.”

During the trial, Megan has received backlash after her sexual history became the central topic. This has resulted in Meg’s team considering taking legal action about bloggers who helped proport the negative press surrounding her sexual history.
