Fashion Editor Keyonna Butler brings news of a collaboration between Kid Cudi and Givenchy after the rapper’s controversial cover of Esquire
I think it’s safe to say that Kid Cudi is Hip-Hop’s latest fashion icon. So it comes as no surprise that Kid Cudi will be doing a special collaboration with fashion house, Givenchy later this year. The collection was announced after Cudi rocked the stage in a custom Givenchy fit made specifically for his “To the Moon Tour.” The oversized cardigan knit with “To the Moon” emblazoned on a sleeve also featured a large Cudder portrait on the back which was “remixed” by Cudi himself.

Kid Cudi later announced the collaboration on his social media on Saturday stating, ”My good friend and genius Matthew Williams let me remix some pieces to make this custom fit for my shows,” he wrote. “We’re doing a special T-shirt to celebrate the tour that drops next month”.
He went on to explain that he and Williams plan to do an in-store meet-up in NYC around the time of his Sept. 12 Brooklyn show. No word on what else we can expect from this collaboration but I’m sure it will be one to not disappoint.
Stay Tuned.
